This was a collaborative project done a few years ago with Amy Stevenson, a fellow artist. The work was very unplanned and fluid in it's formation, with inspiration coming from the space around us and the interaction of the fabrics and materials we brought into the space. The outcome was almost musical in it's composition. Alongside the 'fabric painting' as we called it there was also a soundscape we made using the noises created whilst developing the work - the snip of scissors, tear of fabrics and heavy, harsh thud of the staple gun.
